10-year warranty

Included in the warranty:

The warranty is valid for 10 years and covers materials and workmanship for fittings and sliding doors and is valid from the purchase date. The original receipt must be presented for the warranty to be valid.

Not included in warranty:

  • The warranty does not cover products that have been stored or installed incorrectly, used inappropriately or incorrectly, altered or cleaned using an incorrect cleaning method or cleaning products.
  • The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cuts, nicks, scratches or damage caused by impacts or accidents.
  • The warranty is invalid if the product has been placed outdoors, exposed to direct sunlight for any length of time or stored in a damp environment such as a bathroom.
  • The warranty is not applicable to damage to other property caused by the Elfa product failing to work correctly.

Complaints:

Complaints must be submitted to resellers/customer service without delay as soon as a fault has been noticed. Complaints relating to visible damage to products must be submitted immediately and prior to installation. Damage which reasonably ought to have been noticed prior to installation and was not documented prior to installation will not be accepted.

Warranty:

Repair or replacement are the only forms of remedy covered by this warranty. Elfa will decide whether faults covered by the warranty are to be remedied by means of repair or replacement. Elfa cannot be held liable for indirect or direct losses on the basis of this warranty. “Indirect or direct losses” refers to loss of income, compensation for downtime or costs associated with the repair or replacement of property damaged if the Elfa product fails to work, for example.
If your Elfa product cannot be repaired, we will replace it free of charge.

How national or regional laws are applied

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, but you may also have other rights which vary between countries or regions.
